Question:
I started a new job on March 1... working with the Department of Labor as a
Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor. I've been in orientation/training ever
since. I have been doing a lot of job shadowing. The people on my team are
absolutely some of the nicest people on the planet. I will certainly enjoy
working with them. For those not familiar with VR, I will be helping people
with disabilities to find training and/or employment. I'm sure it will be
rewarding in an emotional sense. The hardest part after 30 years in
education will be getting used to having almost NO time off. But we will
see how that works out!
I just wanted to let you guys know why I may have seemed to *drop out of
sight*.
