Question:
What are the best tech schools in new york for hvac?
Answer:
I worked for a few HVAC companies and by far the best school I ever attended was Agway (now Suburban) school in Syracuse. They do bookwork along with hands on training and for me, I needed hands on to learn more. That school is tops with me. If you're looking to get into HVAC, start with Suburban, they will send you to school and pay for your room and meals (within reason). They mostly work on oil equipment, but do accasionally work on propane and A/C. Once you learn oil, you can then venture out and learn gas equipment. That's how I started anyway and I'm glad I did. Oil is the best source of heat overall. It may not be the cheapest anymore, but BTU for BTU, it will always produce the most heat.
