Question:
Will being on the deans list in college help my professional career?

Answer:
i would say it helps if you highlight it in your cover letter or resume and shortly elaborate on why, such as "selected to the deans list for consistent achievement in blah blah or constantly working beyond the requirements" then imply or explicitly say you will bring that same dilligence to the new company you are applying for. but unless you mention how your performance is related to that honor and how you will bring it to your professional life i dont think theyll just look and say hey this person was on the deans list, what potential they have! so it can help but you have to make it work for you and explain why being on the deans list is a significant performance-related achievement.
