Need some info regarding X-ray tech,MRI tech and the like.?
I am interested in going to school for X-ray Tech. i am currently a 28 year old male. It seems difficult but for a guy who avidlyreads history and poltiics..i think i can handle it..lol
Anyway..Whats the difference between x-ray tech and mri tech. i was under the impression previously u should be a x-ray tech first then expand yor education and get into nuclear medicine..
Anyway whatsthe difference in schooling, studies, and salary and work shifts..and demand..
i believe x-ray techs make what 20 somethin an hour starting..so how much would MRi techs make?..thanks..again sorry about my poor grammar..in a hurry and bad typer..lol
I am an x-ray tech and you make under 20 to start 15+ out of school.
The work is hard, MRI tech do on the job training and get paid a little more.
Yes, you need to become an x-ray tech and then the hospitals normally train you from within and promote from within.
I have worked in IL, MO, and now FL as an x-ray tech.
