Question:
Anyone ever go to a trade school for LVN?

I'm thinking of going to a trade school and getting my certificate for LVN. I have general ed at the junior college and was going for my RN but I want to do this route instead and maybe in the future fnish my AA for RN. Today I went to a counselor and she said it will cost a total of 25,000. Does anyone know the average cost of this program? Does 25,000 sound about average? I am in Los Angeles, CA. The school is 18 weeks and that includes all books, unforms, etc. Has anyone ever gone through this program...if so do you like bing a LVN? My mom is a RN and Im sure I will do that in the future.

Answer:
I live in your neck of the woods, and my mother did it and my hair dresser did it. Both of the got there LVN in less one year, and got full time employment for more than $25.00. I would say go for it. 18 weeks is nothing. Good Luck and we need more good nurse from this country.
