Georgia Tech officials say the reason is simple: Management is one of the
university's few programs without substantial laboratory requirements.
this is true. but it is also true that management is the generally
considered the easiest major that you can take at Georgia Tech. i don't
know whether this is still true, i haven't kept up with the curriculum
as much since i got in to grad school, but even in Management we used to
have a quite a strict math requirement.
Georgia Tech is really not a school for everyone, if you're not
interested in engineering, there are really a lot of better schools for
you. a lot of incoming freshmen realize this after their first year
here, and the majority of them do one of the two things, 1) change
majors to Management, or 2) transfer to another school.
