Any ideas for recruiting for spring/summer retail positions (I work in HR)?

Get the Surgical Tech Success Handbook and get in the high-paying medical industry!

Question:
Any ideas for recruiting for spring/summer retail positions (I work in HR)?

I am an HR/Marketing assistant for an accessories company and need people to fill retail sales associate and manager positions mostly along the eastern coast. We like to target college kids for these jobs but posting with career services only takes you so far. Myspace has also been a bust because you have to wade through alot of trash.

Answer:
Forget going through the career center. How about making flyers and having someone (or you can do it yourself) post the flyers around campus. I know at my school we always look at the bulletin boards, so I'm sure it's like this at other colleges too. Ideal locations would be in academic buildings, dorms, and especially the student center.

You can also try advertising through Facebook, b/c it will get more attention than if you do it through Mspace. I'm not sure of an exact price, but I think it's around $5 or $10 dollars. And trust me, the ads stand out b/c they pop up on the left side of the screen and I'm always curious enough to click on them if it's something that really grabs my attention.
